‘3 reasons to use Microsoft 365 to Automate Matter Management’ – British Legal Technology Forum – Innovation Stage – 10:50am – March 13th
February 9th, 2018 –Repstor, the company that helps law firms exploit their SharePoint and Microsoft 365 investments for matter lifecycle management, has today confirmed that Andrew McManus, IT Director at Eversheds Sutherland, a key Repstor client, is to present at this year’s British Legal Technology Forum (BLTF) in London. The event will take place on March 13th.
Andrew will speak at 10:50am on the Innovation Stage and his talk entitled ‘3 reasons to use Microsoft 365 to Automate Matter Management’ is sure to draw significant interest. Andrew’s talk will centre on how to get the best from Microsoft 365 to help simplify lawyers’ lives, encourage collaboration and provide clients with real time information.

A CIO with a track history in a diverse range of industries including Construction, Live Events, Professional Services and Legal Services, Andrew has overhauled the technology platform at Eversheds Sutherland and led the development of a totally new set of digital solutions and capabilities. In previous roles Andrew has also delivered major system and infrastructure projects servicing some of the world’s largest and busiest Arenas and Exhibition Centres as well as the technology behind a major element of the Olympic Park catering service during the London 2012 Olympics. As an experienced CIO, Andrew has a particular interest in how fast moving technology platforms can totally revolutionise the client experience and quality of operations in any organisation.
Andrew is no stranger to Microsoft 365 or indeed Repstor. Two years ago Eversheds Sutherland selected Repstor’s custodian for legal to enable it to exploit Microsoft 365 for matter management and the relationship and project success has gone from strength to strength.
Commenting on Andrew’s involvement at BLTF 2018, Sheila Gormley, Repstor’s Director of Business Development, said, “It is testament to the strength of our relationship with Eversheds Sutherland that Andrew is presenting at this year’s British Legal Technology Forum. He is a much experienced speaker and has great insight and experience to share with other law firms and legal departments alike.”
The 2018 British Legal Technology Forum, Europe’s largest legal technology conference and exhibition, will take place on Tuesday, 13th March at London’s Old Billingsgate. Some 1,200 visitors from the world of law, legal technology and IT security are expected to attend, to debate and discover the systems, strategies, processes and platforms that will drive law firms and legal businesses into the next decade and beyond.

Fergus continues, “Our latest campaign will help firms to make the case for selecting Office 365 for complete matter lifecycle management – a move that law firms ranging from large international practices like Eversheds Sutherland to challenger firms like gunnercooke have already made.”
Ilse Niehof, Legal Counsel Business at ForFarmers commented, “We evaluated the Repstor custodian solution and found that it clearly fits with our technical legal strategy and from a business perspective, it is definitely the most appropriate solution for our needs.”
“Our existing remote office thin client model wasn’t performing to acceptable standards and we needed to make some radical changes to introduce improvement. We decided early on that we needed to move away from a thin client model yet try and retain the centralised Worksite document management system but this simply wasn’t possible until we became aware of Repstor’s products. Testing and piloting of the products has got the remote offices really excited because it has resolved many of the performance issues that they see. It has also provided a level of matter management, product integration, ease of use and performance that we could get nowhere else. We are so impressed with the Repstor products, and their speed at turning around our feature suggestions, that there is every likelihood that we will roll them out to all remote locations throughout 2015/16,” Tony Le Lerre, Head of Information Services, Mourant Ozannes.
