Expanded Repstor Product Suite Listed on G-Cloud 11

Repstor’s complete product portfolio, including Custodian/Custodian for Legal’s enhanced support for Microsoft Teams, and Repstor Mobile, which transforms filing on the go, has been approved & listed on the updated UK public sector procurement framework

Belfast – August 15th, 2019 –Repstor, the provider of embedded Microsoft Office 365/Outlook information solutions, has today confirmed that, once again, it has been approved as a supplier to the latest iteration of the Government G-Cloud framework, the official digital marketplace for the UK public sector – now updated to G-Cloud 11.

Repstor’s expanded product set of content management solutions is now listed. These solutions enable public sector bodies to empower users to manage, find and share content more effectively and in a compliant way, and derive a greater return on their existing investments in Office 365/SharePoint/MS Teams and other ECM solutions.

G-Cloud 11 solutions from Repstor include:

  • Repstor affinity (with all connectors)
  • Repstor assist
  • custodian (now including enhanced support for Microsoft Teams)
  • custodian for legal (now including enhanced support for Microsoft Teams)
  • Repstor Mobile (transforming filing on the go for  iOS and Android users from everyday mobile email)

G-Cloud gives central government, local councils, NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies a way to purchase cloud-based services such as web hosting from a single, central web site. It is accessed through the Digital Marketplace – created in 2014 by Crown Commercial Service and Government Digital Service to make government procurement easier and more transparent.

Alan McMillen, CEO at Repstor, expressed his pride at once again having the company’s entire product line approved for listing on G-Cloud, for easy access by public sector organisations.

“We’re delighted to be on the Framework, and to have added our new Mobile product and enhanced Teams controls and capabilities,” he said. “The public sector continues to be a successful growth area for Repstor, with both new wins and existing customers investing more in or doing more with our product set.”

Natural Resources Wales, North Lanarkshire Council, Invest Northern Ireland and the Youth Justice Board (an agency of the Ministry of Justice), are among Repstor’s most notable public sector business wins. Indeed, Repstor is continuing to enjoy healthy growth across all of its industry sectors in 2019.

Its products increase return on customers’ existing software investments, by transforming how users access, store and manage content wherever they are and making this very intuitive.

Repstor Mobile: intuitive, accurate filing on the go

With improved mobile connectivity, and more convenient sized mobile devices, today’s information workers are doing a lot more with their business email on the go. But unless team members correctly file messages and attachments at the time, they are creating more work for themselves. When they get back to the office, they will need to remember to go back and find the content again so they can file it to the right repository.

Most mobile email applications are not integrated with content repositories, which means there is no way for workers to file the latest email threads or attachments when out of the office. Their best bet for sharing content with co-workers has been to forward messages, adding to email volumes and version complexity until now.

Repstor Mobile enables intuitive, accurate email and attachment filing from a mobile device – to SharePoint, M-Files, Box and other repositories of choice.

Repstor Transforms Filing on the Go with Launch of Repstor Mobile™

  • The new product, available stand alone or as a companion for Repstor affinity™, makes information management and compliance second nature for mobile users
  • The quick-filing aid works directly in the Outlook app
  • It can also be used natively within Apple iOS and Android mobile email & supports multiple content repositories including SharePoint, M-Files & Box

SharePoint Conference, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – May 22nd, 2019 – Repstor, the ECM software and matter management specialist, has launched Repstor Mobile™, bringing easy, quick-file functionality to iOS and Android smartphone and tablet users from within their everyday mobile email tools.

Optimised for use with Outlook, but also available natively within standard iPhone/iPad and Android mobile email clients, Repstor Mobile makes filing emails and documents fast and instinctive from wherever users are. Mac and Outlook Web Access users can also benefit from Repstor Mobile quick-filing.

Repstor Mobile addresses a growing challenge for organisations whose workforces spend a lot of time out of the office, sending and responding to email on the move. It prompts mobile users to file emails to the right location as they open them. As well as being more convenient for individuals, this promises to boost filing compliance – a significant improvement on scenarios that rely on users remembering to re-open and file emails at the end of the day or when they return to the office.

Designed from the outset to support multiple content repositories, Repstor Mobile integrates with SharePoint, M-Files and Box, with the option to support other popular content platforms.

The powerful mobile filing aid can be used as a mobile companion product to Repstor affinity™, Repstor’s Outlook-based content filing and access solution, or as a standalone product.

“Repstor Mobile is a powerful and invaluable addition to the Repstor product family, transforming information management convenience and compliance as increasing numbers of us interact with email, and in soaring volumes, on the go,” commented Alan McMillen, Repstor’s CEO. “By providing secure, quick filing on any device, anywhere, Repstor Mobile is the solution organisations have been waiting for.”

Behind a very clean and quick user experience is a powerful and very flexible capture engine, to support the filing of emails at scale, he noted. “Behind the scenes, the modern Microsoft Azure architecture for email capture and filing is very, very fast. This avoids the common scenario with mobile email workarounds, which use folder mapping and create a big queue of emails to file.”
