London Law Firm Anthony Gold Chooses Repstor Custodian for Legal™

The O365-based software, which benefits from the familiarity of Outlook, will restore order to email filing, enhance remote collaboration and provide more granular content security

Belfast, February 19th, 2019 – Repstor, the ECM software and matter management specialist, has announced that Anthony Gold, the UK200 London-based law firm, has chosen custodian for Legal™ to enhance matter management with its intuitive, Outlook-based approach to email and document management.

Anthony Gold employs around 170 people across three locations in London, and at least half of its fee-earners and partners work flexibly from home at least some of the time – a critical factor in retaining top talent. The firm has turned to custodian for Legal from Repstor to make remote collaboration easier, and to reduce the time being lost daily to email filing.

“Filing and email management are a huge consumer of time, because of the sheer volumes of messages transmitted each day in relation to client matters,” explains David Marshall, a partner at the firm. “They have to be stored in the correct client spaces, but this was taking longer each day.”

Custodian for Legal appealed because it reflects the way people naturally work within Outlook, while ensuring that emails and their attachments are stored in the right locations. “It’s very intuitive, so correct email filing is something users will be able to do almost without thinking,” he says. “As a non-techie, I was particularly impressed with how easy to use the software is without special training. This will make a huge difference in ensuring everyone uses it routinely.

“Better still, the software makes fuller use of our existing Outlook 365 investment – cloud space we have already paid for – which makes custodian for Legal a very economical option,” he adds.

Anthony Gold will roll out the new software in stages over the next six months so it can build on each practice group’s experiences. “It’s a pragmatic installation plan, which we liked,” David says.

In due course, the firm wants to make use of shared workplaces with clients, so legal teams can collaborate and share documents with clients securely online. “The discrete security options with custodian for Legal are very useful,” David notes. “It means we can lock down individual matters or practice groups, so only certain people can access the content.” Other plans include linking the software to document production and work with documents.

Repstor Confirms Participation at AIIM Forum UK 2018

After launching its mobile content filing and matter management solutions at last year’s event, Repstor will demo its full suite of O365-native products this June

March 21st, 2018 – Repstor, the ECM adoption company that helps businesses exploit their SharePoint and Office 365 investments, has announced that it will once again be participating in AIIM’s annual UK meeting. AIIM Forum UK 2018 will take place on June 20th in London.

Repstor customer National Grid is confirmed to deliver a presentation at 10:15 at the Forum. Mo Ajaz, National Grid’s Group Head of Legal Operational Excellence will present his talk entitled, Transforming Legal Matter Management with Office 365.

Last year, Repstor used the London AIIM Forum to launch its new mobile platform, which transforms information workers’ ability to file and retrieve content, and to collaborate more fully with colleagues and clients, when on the move. This year, as well as showcasing its Outlook-native products, the company will host a SharePoint/ Office365 round table session at giving delegates a unique chance to debate and discuss their O365 challenges and garner advice and recommendations first-hand from experts in the field.

Repstor specialises in matter/case and email/document management solutions that work natively within Microsoft Office, Office 365 and SharePoint. Its ECM adoption technologies have attracted worldwide interest because of their ability to increase the payback on companies’ existing investments in Office 365 and SharePoint, as well as content management tools such as Box, M-Files and OpenText. Its case and matter management products, meanwhile, have experienced enthusiastic take-up among private law firms and corporate legal departments.

Over the last year, Repstor technology has enjoyed significant business wins in the US, Canada and the UAE, as well as the UK.

This time last year, the company was also gearing up to launch ES /Unity™ in partnership with international law firm Eversheds Sutherland. The powerful legal matter management, which works with companies’ existing Office 365/SharePoint systems, has attracted a strong client base among corporate legal teams. National Grid, Wellcome Trust, Queen’s University Belfast, and Miral, an asset management company in the UAE, committed to ES/Unity within the first quarter of the product’s launch, and business has continued to be brisk over the last year.

Commenting on Repstor’s planned presence at AIIM Forum UK 2018, Fergus Wilson, Repstor’s CTO, said, “The annual AIIM event is one of the highlights of our company’s calendar, not just for showcasing our technology to our target market, but also for the networking opportunities. We look forward to another lively event this June.”

AIIM Forum UK is a FREE independent, single-day event hosted by AIIM International, designed to deliver thought leadership, market insights and expert advice around all aspects of content management, and to showcase the latest developments in information management.
