The amount of information – including emails, documents, line of business data that enterprise companies now have, is making it increasingly difficult for these companies to provide their users with access to the volumes of information in an easy-to-use and actionable way. This problem is further complicated by the need to handle large volumes of case or project based information. In these scenarios, because the information is similar in nature across the projects or cases, standard search and discovery tools do not provide users with the tools they need to obtain easy access to specific projects and cases. ECM systems often do not store and manage information efficiently when it is case or project based – an issue especially true for Microsoft SharePoint.

Repstor developed Repstor Custodian after seeing the need for better case based working within SharePoint which could be presented within the familiar interface of Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft client applications.

Repstor is in receipt of Grant for R&D support from Invest NI for Repstor Custodian (as part of LSCIM project). This project which is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020 aims to provide a massively scalable case management system based around SharePoint.
